It was founded in 2009 by a group of people who were passionate about papercraft and wanted to share their love of this hobby with others. The community has grown rapidly over the years and now has over 10,000 members from all over Indonesia.

Peri Kertas organizes regular workshops and meetups where members can learn new techniques and share their work. The community also has a thriving online presence, with a website, Facebook group, and Instagram account.

The name Peri Kertas means “Paper Fairy” in Indonesian. The community’s logo features a fairy with wings made of paper, which symbolizes the creativity and imagination of papercraft enthusiasts.

The mission of Peri Kertas is to promote the art of papercraft in Indonesia and to inspire people of all ages to explore their creativity. The community is a welcoming and supportive space where people can learn, share, and grow their love of papercraft.
