I really enjoyed making these guys. There is a lot to love about your design. I especially like the head shape (boxy but not a block) and the angles in the arms and legs. I appreciate all of the tabs too; more surfaces for glue.
One suggestion. Instead of gluing the head to the body and the body to the waist I cut a hole in the top of the body and in the top of the waist and cut wings in the bottom of the head and the bottom of the body so the head can turn and the body can twist a little. If I had been paying attention before making the arms I would have left some extra paper on the insides of the arms so they could move too.
